One of the greatest things about Arizona is the sunsets. All year round Arizona produces some of the most awe inspiring and beautifully colored sunsets. Depending on the conditions these sunsets can range from deep blue skies and bright orange sunbursts, to cloudy apparitions lit up in crimson, amber, and velvet.
Even the blankest empty skies can produce wonderful images with the warm tones of fading light. A majority of these pictures were taken from the balcony of my home in Phoenix during the winter when the Sun sets a little further to the South. The middle group was taken just South of Flagstaff, Arizona off of Interstate 17 which runs between Phoenix and Flagstaff.
